We begin with gentle warm-up exercises to prepare the core, ensuring the muscles are ready for the sequence. This includes cat-cow breathing and joint preparation.
2. Core Sequences: The focus is on deep lower abdominal poses, progressing to upper abdominal sequences. Key postures include modified Viparita Karani, leg lifts, boat poses, east-facing pose, locust, camel and wheel. See Core Sequences and Golden Rule Core.
3. Detoxification: Core sequences are vital for detoxification. A balanced core provides internal pressure to expel waste and stimulate peristalsis, which aids in moving food through the intestines. This enhances the body's natural detoxification process promoting well-being.
