Climate
The climate is tropical with an average yearly temperature of 79 degrees Fahrenheit. The rainy season is from May to November, and the dry season is from December to April. Pine Cay experiences occasional hurricanes and tropical storms.
Flora and Fauna
The island is home to a variety of plant and animal life. The flora of our Yoga Retreat consists mostly of low-lying shrubs and grasses. There are also a few trees on the island, including coconut palms. The fauna includes lizards, birds, and crabs.
This Yoga Retreat, is an all-inclusive resort with a yoga studio overlooking the turquoise waters. Whether a beginner or an experienced yogi, you'll find plenty of challenges and opportunities to grow at our Yoga Retreat. Apart from a twice a day 90 minute yoga classes we will have plenty time for swimming, snorkeling, spa treatments, Hobie Cats, Paddle boarding, Kayaking and Kite-surfing,
- Beach Walks: Let your mind drift away over miles of soft sand and turquoise waters.
- Snorkel/ Scuba Dive: Swim with turtles and play with dolphins Pine Cay is home to an abundant marine life for some amazing snorkeling and diving.
- Explore the island: Hike across the island or go for a swim in one of the many freshwater ponds.
- Relax: Our Beach Club is perfect to enjoy incredible views and with a private beach, infinity pool, and full-service spa, you'll never want to leave!

Take time off from work or other obligations while on the retreat so that you may fully immerse yourself in the experience. This is imperative for optimal results. Avoid eating solid foods for a minimum of 4 ideally 6 hours before each yoga class. Choose if you want a classic esthetic retreat or to just be on a fun holiday. We will accommodate both.

Yoga Retreat Itinerary
Typical itinerary for a yoga retreat at the Meridian Club Hotel:
• Day 1: Arrive at the hotel and check in. Spend the afternoon exploring the grounds and taking a dip in the pool. In the evening, attend an Introductory Yoga class.
• Day 2: Rise early for an energizing morning Core Yoga class. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool or exploring Pine Cay. In the evening, attend a foundational leg sequence yoga class.
• Day 3: Start the day with another energizing morning yoga focused on arm balances and headstands. Then, head out on a kayaking adventure or take a walk on one of Pine Cay's many nature trails. In the evening, join a stretch and meditation yoga session.
• Day 4: Enjoy another morning yoga class combining sequences of previous lessons into more compounded complex sessions followed by breakfast overlooking the ocean. Then, spend some time journaling, reading, or taking naps in a hammock before attending an afternoon restorative Yoga class. Finish up the day with some more relaxation by the pool or beach.
• Day 5: Wake up early for one last morning yoga class before checking out of the hotel and heading home refreshed and rejuvenated!
