A CHAKRA IS A
CENTER OF AWARNESS
The chakras are centers of awareness.
They are an integral part of the yogic path. Without this knowledge, the science of yoga will remain incomplete.
The 7th Chakra , Sahashara, the chakkra of bliss, is intentionally omitted since it is relates to consciousness which is not achieved unless the first 6 chakras are balanced.
When the individual's reference energy is that of the seventh Chakra there is inevitably an overcoming of the daily modality of existence, from the coarsest to the most refined and elevated. A progressive and abandonment to the intuition of the inner voice. The energy we encountered in Mooladhara chakra, the potential and propellant of all evolution, manifests itself in Sahasrara, generating force in its universal form, MahaKundalini. It represents spirituality and, due to its relaxing effect, is used in the treatment of restlessness, agitation, hypertension, insomnia, and eye disorders. It acts on the mind, stimulating humility and self-realization. Connected with the universe, the divine within us and within others. Related to the pineal gland, the cerebral cortex, and the central nervous system.
When out of balance, it is associated with obsession, injustice, intolerance, and mental restriction.
