PRIVATE & GROUP CLASSES

There are days when the sky is not blue. But through yoga and meditation, clouds may come and go, but no one can take your blue sky away once you have seen it.

Experienced and beginners are enabled to practice together, even though there are different parameters I look out for while teaching, such as the physical constitution of the individual practitioner, location (hot, humid, dry), time (morning, lunch, evening), aspiration (general well-being, strengthening or stretching the body, calming effect, mood enhancer), activities (does the person often sit, does he/she practice other activities), capacities (strength, flexibility, memory), and sometimes as well age and gender (hormonal changes). Our retreat method enables experienced and beginners to practice together, even though there are different parameters I look out for while teaching, such as the physical constitution of the practitioner, location (hot, humid, dry), time (morning, lunch, evening), aspiration (general well-being, strengthening or stretching the body, calming effect, mood enhancer), activities (does the person often sit, does he/she practice other activities), capacities (strength, flexibility, memory), and sometimes as well age and gender (hormonal changes).

Integrate what you will learned about healing into daily life, to recognize the importance of caring for ourselves with presence and intention, and to accept the fact that we have the key to tell our body and mind what to experience.

Relaxing is a skill. It takes courage to choose stillness. It requires balance to slow down. We need good space to have a flexible body and mind.

You will get the chance to deepen your understanding of the golden rules in yoga, avoid monotony or injuries while practicing, appreciate the benefits of regularity, build equilibrium, and find good space. Grow into your own path in yoga. Learn to settle and move through the yoga practice with steadiness and ease. You as well will learn different breathing techniques, and we will talk about mudras and bandhas.

Let us as well talk about the Yamas (social codes towards others), Niyamas (social codes towards yourself), Pratyahara (draw the attention inward) , Pranayama (control of the breath) or Pranāyama (beyond the control of the breath), Dharana (focus and concentration) , Dhyana (visualisation and meditation, ...and eventually about Samadhi.

The private or group yoga classes are developed from the simple to the more challenging postures. The practice is not too light, which would void the benefits of increased circulation, improved digestion, and detoxification. Yet sessions are not too strong to avoid becoming adrenalized and non-meditative. The method is instructed meditatively encouraging the body to open in progressive layers without being pushy or punchy. The same sequences are not repeatead over successive sessions. Each class is synergistic with every lesson acting as a step into the next session. The classes collectively create a whole felt within your entire being. Sequences are adapted to the individual within the group. All yoga lessons end with relaxation and visualisation or meditation practice.
